The NBA Finals are finally upon us and with less than 24 hours to go, we cannot wait till the live action begins. It is up to two of the strongest and most dedicated teams this season to give us one final show. The Golden State Warriors will face the Cleveland Cavaliers for what promises to be a nail biting event. Both teams have been on top of their games with more highs than lows. The Finals are exactly what most fans wanted; Curry vs James. This year's MVP vs "The King." What more could we ask for?



Both teams have had a dream run to get to the finals and they hope to take that momentum into the days that matter the most. For the Warriors, a clean sweep of 4 out of 4 against the Pelicans meant that they were surely advancing into round 2. The Cavs were not far behind by demolishing the Celtics in the same manner.

In round 2, the Warriors faced tough times when they went down 1-2 to the Grizzlies at the end of game 3. But when you have the "Splash Brothers" on your side, nothing is impossible. The Warriors came back in game 4, 5 and 6 and advanced to the next round. The Cavs were 2-2 at the end of game 4 but came back strongly to take game 5 and 6 and stroll through to the next round. In the Conference Finals, the Warriors were up to face the Rockets and runner up MVP, James Harden. Despite going 0-3 down, the Rockets came back to win game 4 and threatened to force game 5,6 and 7. The Warriors seemed to play their best when under pressure and so they did to lock out game 5 and send the Rockets packing. On the other hand, the Cavs made one of the best teams in the season, The Atlanta Hawks, look like a bunch of sparrows. They cleaned up the series in the first 4 games easily and were eagerly waiting for the winner between the Warriors and Rockets.



The Finals of any sport should always be between the two best teams and this is definitely going to deliver as the NBA Finals: Cavs vs Warriors is sure to keep us at the edge of our seats. Although Golden State have not won the Finals since the 1974-75 season, they have shown how everyone exactly why they deserve a spot in the Finals this season. With star performers like Stephen Curry, who won the MVP award and the 3-Point Championship this season. Along with Klay Thompson, Leandro Barbosa, Harrison Barnes, Andrew Bogut, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala, the Warriors are a team to beat this season.

The Cavaliers, on the other hand, have been a force to reckon with since LeBron James made his appearance in the side. Not to take the spotlight away from the others in the team like Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Shawn Marrion, J.R Smith and 3-point specialist Matthew Dellavedova just to name a few who have contributed significantly in the teams success this season.
